Dr. Charnick previously served as Chief of Nuclear Medicine for Memorial Healthcare System and Medical Director of PET Imaging Institute of South Florida (PIISF) for over 13 years. During that time, he played an integral role in introducing PET and PET/CT to the South Florida region and local Broward County communities. He is a strong believer in the power of functional imaging, and appreciates how it continues to transform not only the fields of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine, but also the many ways that clinicians manage their patients. Dr. Charnick believes in the practice of integrated care, utilizing PET technology to its fullest potential as one piece in the larger spectrum of overall patient care. He enjoys interacting with referring physicians and patients as he feels this is important in understanding the needs of each individual patient. In his spare time, Dr. Charnick is an avid road cyclist and is in constant pursuit of the perfect espresso shot.
